Design Objective
Create graphics for diverse advertising components combining existing and new assets for the annual Take Back the Night (TBTN) event run by Safer.
Adobe Illustrator, Implemented into Canva
Mandatories
Use the TBTN logo and the clouds and poppies made for Sexual Assault Action Month (SAAM) graphics so the event was tied back to our overall SAAM programs. Ensure all required event information in all mediums. Abide by Safer marketing guidelines while ensuring legibility.
Final Solution
The advertising components inform people about TBTN and it’s appeal while also visually acknowledging the serious context. Minding the theme of taking back the night to empower survivors, dark blues and highlights from the colors used in the SAAM designs were used. For accessibility, I paid attention to color contrast when choosing type and background colors.
